Adoration is in the Adoration Chapel. The hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. If you are interested in signing up for an hour, call the office at 830-964-3497.
Divine Mercy Devotion prays the Chaplet every Tuesday, 3pm and prays the Chaplet every First Friday at 3pm in the Adoration Chapel. Call the office for questions. Click on the link to the right for more information on Divine Mercy.
First Five Saturday Devotion is at church beginning with 8:30am Mass, followed by Rosary, and then 15-minute meditation on one of the mysteries. Contact church office for information.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Society organizes the parish celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe's Feast Day. This is a Society and Marian Ministry open to all St. Thomas parishioners. Our Mission Statement is to promote the role of Our Lady of Guadalupe in our parish and community through the Rosary, Extraordinary Ministers who offer communion to the sick and homebound, and to recognize Our Lady as Protectress of the unborn child. We come together annually on December 12 as members and fellow parishioners celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We welcome men and women to become Society members and invite you to attend any of the weekend Masses on the 2nd Sunday of the month and attend our monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 9:30 am in the RE Building. Prayer Blanket is a ministry that provides a blanket made with love and prayer by the ladies of our parish. The blankets are blessed by Father and available to parishioners and friends who are facing an illness. Contact the church office at 830-964-3497.
Prayer Vine Ministry is a ministry praying for all requested prayers. Request prayers for those you love and/or be a prayer warrior for this ministry. Email Belinda at [email protected] or call the office.
Rosary Group prays Rosary on Tuesdays at 4pm in the Adoration Chapel.
Shield a Badge Ministry is a commitment to pray for a specific firefighter daily for safety, good judgement and safe return. Call Susan Shirley-Menzel at 830-907-4488 for more information.
St. Florian is the Patron Saint of Firefighters. Under the Emperor Diocletian in Austria, Florian refused to denounce his Christianity. Aquilles ordered him to be burned to death. He commented "if you do, I will climb the flames to heaven," so they drowned him instead. May 4th, his feast day, and is also International Firefighter Day. Remember to pray for the safety of our firefighters.
